I spent ten years as a divorce attorney before realizing I'd rather invent happy endings than dismantle them. Now I spend my days in a caffeine-fueled haze, dreaming up men who actually know how to listen and women who aren't afraid to ask for what they want.
When I'm not writing, you can find me scouring vintage shops for the perfect lipstick, arguing about which Jane Austen hero is the most misunderstood (it's Knightley, obviously), or negotiating with my very small, very smug rescue cat over the only sunny spot in the apartment.
I live in Charleston with said cat and a husband who has, bravely, agreed to let me describe him as "research."
