MEMBERSHIP
The Oakhaven Society.
A small, slightly nosy correspondence club for readers of cozy mysteries, makers of strong tea, and admirers of a well-kept grudge.
Membership is entirely free. Discretion, on the other hand, is non-negotiable.

PETITION FOR MEMBERSHIP
Kindly furnish your particulars.
Beatrice replies to every new member personally. Allow up to one tea-break for processing.
PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP
Four small indulgences.
NO. 01
The Monthly Dispatch
A letter from the cottage, posted on the first Sunday of every month. One essay, one tea, one theory, one biscuit recommendation — and absolutely no algorithm.
NO. 03
The Suspect Board
A members-only quarterly puzzle: a fictional Oakhaven mystery to solve, with a real hand-written reply from Beatrice for whoever names the culprit first.
NO. 02
Advance Chapters
Read the opening chapters of forthcoming Miss Marigold mysteries before the rest of the village does. Spoilers under wax seal.
NO. 04
Right of First Refusal
Early access to signed editions, cottage-printed bookplates, and the annual Oakhaven Christmas card (depicting a different parish scandal each year).
"Reading Beatrice's monthly letter is like being telephoned by a clever aunt who has just learned something dreadful about the neighbors."
Margaret H.
MEMBER SINCE 2019
"I joined for the advance chapters. I stayed for the tea recommendations. I am now apparently a member of something called the Suspect Board."
Alistair P.
RELUCTANT CONVERT
"We do not take ourselves seriously. The neighbors, however, are a different matter entirely."
