THE CODEX

A KEEPER OF UNSANCTIONED MYTHOLOGIES.

Vaelen Kael writes from the long quiet between stations — novels assembled from salvaged transmissions, dead-language fragments, and the patient mathematics of grief. Their work has been translated into seventeen tongues, three of which are no longer spoken outside ceremony.

Kael is the recipient of the Outer Rim Archive Prize and a four-time finalist for the Aether-Locus Award. They live nowhere in particular and answer correspondence only by tide.
